SalesPad 5.6.4 is now available! This release includes a range of valuable updates since 5.5.12.
eCommerce Feature Expansion
- SalesPad’s connectors to Shopify, WooCommerce, and Adobe Commerce now all have an Order Export feature to send orders created in SalesPad to the website for complete customer order visibility, tracking, and history. All subsequent updates for exporting fulfillment, tracking, invoicing, and cancellation notifications support these orders as well.
- The Shopify and WooCommerce connectors now support syncing product images and order invoice notifications with the website. (Note: these features were already supported for Adobe Commerce.)
- All connectors have been updated to the latest-and-greatest APIs for these eCommerce providers. Notably, the Shopify connector has been updated from the now-deprecated REST API to the new GraphQL API, which requires additional configuration changes when upgrading.
Adobe Commerce Connector Updates
- The Product Export can now flag products for specific websites, so products can be made available in some stores but not others.
- The Order Import has a new Sales Line Configurable Product Mapping to support importing configurable products on sales lines, which can pull information from the parent item (e.g. base t-shirt) and the child item (e.g., selected medium size and red color).
Other Important Updates
- ☆☆☆ Item-level reference information for sales lines, PO lines, and ITT lines now supports many new columns, including Base UofM, On Order, Allocated, Primary Vendor, and more.
- ☆☆☆ Kit components can now be edited in SalesPad. The Inventory Lookup’s Kit Components tab has new security-controlled buttons to add, edit, and remove components for kit items. Editing components is only allowed if the kit item is not on any open sales documents.
- A new Sales Line Component Dock plugin provides easy visibility of kit components for kit sales lines on sales orders.
- Customer AR Statements have new settings for default behavior when sending AR statements via workflow, and optionally when printing manually as well, reducing the number of clicks required for every AR statement sent.
- PayLink processing in SalesPad now integrates with Global Payments’ Credit Card Advantage (CCA) add-in for GP.
- SalesPad’s Avalara AvaTax connector has been updated from the deprecated SOAP API to the new REST V2 API. The deprecated API is currently planned to shut down in October 2026, so make sure to plan your upgrade early to avoid any disruptions to your sales tax calculations.
