SalesPad 5.7.4 is officially here, bringing a new wave of enhancements designed to sharpen your inventory accuracy and streamline operations. Following our 5.6.11 release, this update focuses on giving your team more granular control, from syncing complex Shopify data to fulfilling individual kit components.

Shopify Metafield Support
- Shopify metafields can be mapped to automatically sync your custom fields between Shopify and SalesPad. Connect your customer, order, product, and variant metafields in Shopify for full visibility across both systems.
Kit Component Fulfillment
- Kit components can now be fulfilled individually on sales documents, giving you much finer control over which components are fulfilled from where. Adjustments to fulfillments can be made on the fly, ensuring that your inventory is always as up to date and accurate as possible.
Inventory Lookup Enhancements
- The Warehouse field can now default to the current user’s assigned warehouse, saving you from updating it every time you visit this screen.
- The warehouse availability tab’s bin list can now update to match the currently selected warehouse, and it can filter out bins that are empty and/or have negative quantity.
- Inventory Lookup results can now be required to exactly match your search criteria. SQL wildcards can be added to further refine your results when using this new Match Exact checkbox.
- Clicking an Item Number hyperlink in SalesPad can now be set up to only show that exact item on the Inventory Search screen that is opened, instead of including partial matches.
- A new read-only Price Levels tab lets you see an item’s price levels without drilling all the way into the Item Maintenance window.
Other Important Updates
- ☆☆☆ Import Manager now supports bin transfers, allowing you to import a spreadsheet to submit all your inventory bin movements at once
- ☆☆☆ Kit components can be edited if that kit is on open quotes, via a new security option (note that kit components can still not be edited if that kit is on any open orders)
- Workflow queue descriptions can now be added to all workflow types (POs, items, customers, etc.) for easy process notes
- Using keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste sales lines (CTRL+C and CTRL+V) now works across different sales documents, and these shortcuts now work on purchase orders for copying and pasting PO lines
- The AR Statement Automation Agent job now allows you to test which customers would be emailed without actually emailing them, so you can make sure your configuration works properly first
- Configurator attributes and options can now be imported and exported, letting you easily update and maintain multiple configurations across one or more environments
- Square payments that partially failed can now be retrieved through SalesPad rather than needing to be resolved in the Square portal
☆☆☆ – Features marked with stars were requested by our users in the SalesPad Ideas Portal. Thank you for your feedback!
